Jeffrey Boma Amachree is a programming guru who believes knowledge should be sought after simply for the love of it. Jeffrey's decision to become a programmer was influenced by his desire to electronically meet people's needs.
He also derives a lot of joy when he sees people use products which he contributed to developing.
Jeff (as he is popularly called) who joined SystemSpecs in December 2004, had his first experience in programming as a System Analyst in Acclaim Savings. From then on there was no stopping him. He went on to work as a Consultant and Senior Software Engineer in two other software companies.
Jeff is a Deputy Manager in SystemSpecs, and he is a member of the team responsible for the development and maintenance of Nigeria's leading corporate e-payment solution – Remita!
Though born and raised in Port-Harcourt, Jeff is a native of Buguma in Asari Toru LGA of Rivers State. He is the second of three children born to Late Mr. & Mrs. Amachree. Jeff started his education at Pabod Model Primary School, Port-Harcourt; before proceeding to Stella Maris College, Port-Harcourt.
Based on his desire for software engineering he obtained an Advanced Diploma in e-Technology Computing (web-centric application) from the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT). He is a Microsoft Certified Professional who is well skilled in applications tools such as JAVA, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Net, Linux & PHP.
Jeff's interest in acquiring knowledge goes beyond the IT field as he has also obtained a PGD in Logistics and Transport Management from UNIFECS (OAU) and a Masters in Transport Management (MTM) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo State.
Jeff’s leisure period is either spent with his wife, reading, listening to music, playing basketball or watching soccer. He enjoys eating a meal of rice with fried plantain. He recently got married to a fellow Niger Deltan, Stella Tosan nee Wilkie.
The SystemSpecs family wishes Mr. & Mrs. Amachree a blissful married life.
